Glenn Fakier died due to Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) on January 23, 2004. Glenn was only 41 years old and perceivably in the best of health. He was taken from his family by a silent, deadly condition where a blood clot can break loose and travel to the lungs. Every year 200,000 people die due to DVT in the United States alone. If detected early and properly treated, DVT may often resolve itself.
